Online teaching- a learning curve

Learning how to Teach online
Karen Fergurson shared her  wisdom on how to use google Hangouts  and link work on the calendar. Lenva  shared an excellent powerpoint on how to work from home. She also shared a tip how to customise your website

This information was very useful because homeschooling is new to us and new to the children.
I use the standard means of communication, e-mail, website , work space and most important, the calendar. I also use the phone, do courtesy calls to see how they are doing and encourage them, however, very effective, I feel I intrude on their privacy phoning them at home.

Hapara dashboard is live in the class and you can comment and see what is on their screen. However, at home it is not working. I contacted Lenva and she said it to protect their privacy and the dashboards don't work outside school grounds.

Education perfect really worked well during the competition time. I hope this trend continues
because it is a great learning platform.
