Is technology make us anti social?

I got a thousand friends------on Face book. But are they real friends? When was the last time you have talked to a stranger on plane? We use to......before technology. Now everyone switch on a screen and put on their headphones... oblivious who is sitting next to them. The more we are connected, the more we are disconnected. We all become strangers in the same room, texting someone on our mobile phone who is far away. Digital technology is extremely invasive. It use to be on our screens but is now on our pockets and on our wrists, every where, more and more in our homes. We have to prepare our children for the future where technology  will become more important.

Technology workshops Digital technology is extremely invasive. It use to be on our screens but is now on our pockets and on our wrists, every where, more and more in our homes. We have to prepare our children for the future where technology  will become more important. Smart phones are not that smart. The can only talking two-0 and 1 --yes and know. We have to think like a robot to program and code it. Clear instructions is essential and you have t  constantly think what can go wrong. It was interesting to see how the autonomous cars are programmed  to decide which of the two worst options to take in a lose/lose situation We attend workshops about  coding, robots, 3D printing and welding. The sessions were informative and hand-on. During the coding workshop we used Scrach and design a Maze game.During the 3d printing session we used Tinker Cad to design a basic house with a roof, a door and walls.
